Zyliss Garlic Crusher Review. Cheap Garlic Crushers.

This stylish, almost space age looking garlic crusher is very light and comfortable to hold. It easily crushes a large clove or two smaller cloves of garlic in one press with nearly all the garlic coming free from the crusher rather than needing to be scrapped off in to the cooking bowl.

There is a pleasant feel to using this garlic crusher and the real bonus is that you do not need to peel the clove to use it. All the flesh comes through crushed and just the skin is left behind; a small marvel. You can also crush your next clove without removing the previous ones’ skin.

It is a simple, sturdy bit of kit so will last and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. The Zyliss is a bit pricier than other crushers (about £7) but the sheer convenience of use makes it worth the money. If I needed to suggest one minor annoyance, it would be that it can be a bit fiddly to make sure all the garlic skin has been washed away from the inside of the crusher so a little tool like the ones you can get from some cheaper crushers would be hand
