Swan SW2010W Washing Machine Review,
The Swan essentials SW2010W is a great basic washing machine. The user guide is simple with easy to follow charts explaining what each wash cycle does and the approximate length of time it will take. I like the quick wash for those items that are needed in a hurry. The cycle only lasts 30 minutes.
This machine has 15 different programmes in total and a spin speed of 1000rpm. White appears to be the only colour available for this particular model. The design is very basic with one dial and three buttons which makes it easy to use. I have had to refer to the manual several times as half of the dial is symbols and I found it took time to remember what each of them means. I would have changed this slightly if designing it personally, for example, by labelling cotton on the dial rather than using the symbol for cotton which may not be widely known.
The one main problem I have found is when emptying the filter, it is very difficult to get a container to fit under the drainer to catch the water. I have to do this in stages which can be tedious. I think a pull out tray may have been a good idea.
Overall this is an easy to use, reasonably priced machine at between £179 – £199.
