DeLonghi Coffee Maker Review,
The DeLonghi Undercabinet coffee maker uses ground coffee in a gold filter, to provide up to 12 cups of coffee. It comes in black, silver and white. Most coffee makers are loaded by lifting the lid to add the coffee and water.
The unique feature of this model, is that access to the loading area is by pulling a handle that opens a drawer to the front. As a result, the unit can be placed on a counter under a cabinet, without having to be pulled out every morning to load.
This model also includes the ability to remove the pot and stop the flow; and a permanent filter, which eliminates the cost and waste from daily paper filters.. The pot pours very well, without spilling water over the side.
The undercabinet feature of this model is very convenient, and filling the unit is much easier. However, steam from the coffee production is constantly flowing across the underside of the cabinet and around the lip of the cabinet door.
As a result, it appears the veneer of the cabinets is loosening in some spots. A mechanism to channel the steam out the side or back would improve the unit’s design
